Background

David Shead is regarded as one of Britain's per-eminent trumpeters. Since leaving the Royal College of Music, he has developed a reputation as a consummate musician that has spread worldwide.

As well as working with all the major London orchestras, David Shead records and broadcasts regularly for the BBC and other international radio stations. He is principal trumpet of both the Wilbraham Brass Soloists and the London Festival Orchestra which performed in Brunei.

John Padley began his early musical training as a chorister at Hereford Cathedral. He was appointed as Organist of St. George's Cathedral Jerusalem with its magnificent Reiger organ. He is presently Organist and Choirmaster of Sherborne Abbey Dorset.
